Slideshow of Newcastle Upon Tyne & Surrounding area's (Geordie Land) ----------------------------------------------------- By Gareth Murfin (Alpha Software) Introduction ------------ This is a slide show of Newcastle Upon Tyne, which is an area in the North East of England. It covers alot of famous 'Geordie' places, to be more precise : Robinson Library Hancock Museum Royal Victoria Infirmary Freeman Hospital Newcastle General Hospital Tyne Bridge from Gateshead Tyne Bridge from Newcastle Tyne Bridges and Market Tyne Bridges from the air Bigg Market Black Gate Blackfriars Eldon Square Eldon Garden Green Market Theatre Royal St Nicholas Cathedral Guildhall area St Andrews Church City Wall Cordwainers Hall, Blackfriars Castle Keep Bamburgh Castle Bamburgh Castle Alnwick Castle Warkworth Castle Dunstanburgh Castle Chesters Roman Fort Housesteads Fort-West Guardroom Holy Island Castle Lindisfarne Priory St. Mary's Lighthouse Durham cathedral Close House Mansion Lanercost Priory Hulme Priory, Alnwick Requirements ------------ This requires : CyberGFX (on AGA OR GFX card) about 800K free RAM. Running the slide show ---------------------- Simply de-arc and double click the Icon, and it'll run. To escape push 'ESC' or right mouse button. Future ------ If anyone happens to ask I'll make a non-CyberGFX version :-) I'll probably make another slide show soon of Stirlingshire in Scotland and around the University campus. I'm also thinking of doing a 'Newcastle night life' one showing all the pubs and clubs.. and a few inside the aforementioned pubs and clubs :) Email me if you like this :).. gazy@globalnet.co.uk Visit my URL for the latest on Alpha Software.. www.welcome.to/alpha-software (c) Gareth Murfin / Alpha Software 1999
